The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday. Carry a valid photo ID. Tripods, food, drones and large bags are not permitted inside. Sunrise visits offer the best light and fewer crowds.

How to reach

Located on the south bank of the Yamuna River in Agra. From Agra Cantt railway station it is around 6 km. Battery buses and golf carts operate from the parking area to the East and West gates.
